Dust Cleaner

Sound gone low and fuzzy? A rising sweep shakes the dust out of the grille.

Turn the volume to maximum and turn off silent mode — the cleaning sound needs full power.

⚠️ Safety first: never charge a wet phone, and don't wear headphones while cleaning — the tones are strong. Read the full safety guide.

How It Works

Four simple steps. The whole clean takes about a minute.

1

SET VOLUME TO MAX

Turn your media volume to 100% and turn off silent mode. The cleaning sound needs full power to shake the speaker properly.

2

SOUND + VIBRATE

This page is already set for your phone. Leave Sound and Vibrate on together for the strongest clean — or use just one of them.

3

PRESS START — SPEAKER DOWN

Hold the device with the speaker facing down on a soft, dry towel. Gravity helps the water and dust fall out while the sound plays.

4

LISTEN & REPEAT IF NEEDED

Play some music and listen. Still muffled? Run the tool once or twice more — most speakers become clear within 1 to 3 cycles.

🧹 Clean Dust Out of Your Speaker

Dust builds up slowly — most people never notice how much sound they lost.

1

LOOK AT THE GRILLE

Hold the speaker to the light. Grey or blocked holes mean dust and pocket lint are packed in.

2

RUN THE DUST SWEEP

Select Dust Clean above, full volume, speaker facing down. The rising sweep loosens the dust so it can fall out.

3

BRUSH — GENTLY

A soft, dry toothbrush, light sideways strokes, speaker still facing down. Never poke pins or needles inside.

4

SWEEP ONCE MORE

Run Dust Clean one last time to shake out everything the brush loosened. Then test with your favourite song.

Honest note: this tool cleans water and dust from the speaker opening, and it fixes most muffled or low sound. It cannot repair a broken speaker or water damage inside the phone — for that, please visit a repair shop. Never charge a wet phone.

Questions

Short answers, no confusing words.

Is this tool free?

Yes — completely free. No app to install, no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. The sound is made inside your browser.

Will it damage my speaker?

No. The tones are inside the range phone speakers are built for, and the volume rises slowly. If any sound ever feels too harsh, press STOP — it stops at once.

How many times should I run it?

Run it once, then test with music. For water, 2–3 cycles are normal. Please do not run more than 3 cycles back-to-back — let the speaker rest a few minutes.
