MacBook Speaker Cleaner
MacBook speakers sit beside the keyboard — this deeper sweep clears dust without opening anything.
Turn the volume to maximum and turn off silent mode — the cleaning sound needs full power.
⚠️ Safety first: never charge a wet phone, and don't wear headphones while cleaning — the tones are strong. Read the full safety guide.
How It Works
Four simple steps. The whole clean takes about a minute.
SET VOLUME TO MAX
Turn your media volume to 100% and turn off silent mode. The cleaning sound needs full power to shake the speaker properly.
SOUND + VIBRATE
This page is already set for MacBook. Leave Sound and Vibrate on together for the strongest clean — or use just one of them.
PRESS START — SPEAKER DOWN
Hold the device with the speaker facing down on a soft, dry towel. Gravity helps the water and dust fall out while the sound plays.
LISTEN & REPEAT IF NEEDED
Play some music and listen. Still muffled? Run the tool once or twice more — most speakers become clear within 1 to 3 cycles.
About MacBook Speakers
MacBook speakers are some of the best on any laptop — and some of the easiest to clog with crumbs and dust. This sweep is tuned deeper for the MacBook's larger speakers.
Where the speaker is: MacBook speakers sit in the long slots on both sides of the keyboard (on smaller models, under the back edge of the keyboard deck).
Questions
Short answers, no confusing words.
Is this tool free?
Yes — completely free. No app to install, no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. The sound is made inside your browser.
Will it damage my speaker?
No. The tones are inside the range phone speakers are built for, and the volume rises slowly. If any sound ever feels too harsh, press STOP — it stops at once.
How many times should I run it?
Run it once, then test with music. For water, 2–3 cycles are normal. Please do not run more than 3 cycles back-to-back — let the speaker rest a few minutes.
